SHIP ELECTRICIAN - CRUISE SHIPS
📌 Job description:
We are looking for experienced electricians to work on equipping river cruise ships. The work involves performing electrical installations, installing sockets, lighting and modern intelligent installations. Responsibilities also include running and connecting cabling.
⚙️ Responsibilities:
- installation of electrical sockets, lighting and Smart installations, - laying and connecting electrical cables, - installation of 230V AC, 48V DC and 24V DC, - installation of network and telecommunications cabling, - work in accordance with technical documentation, - cooperation with the team in the construction and equipment of ships.
✅ Requirements:
- minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician, - experience working in a shipyard (experience with cruise ships will be an additional advantage), - knowledge of electrical installations and cabling systems, - ability to read technical drawings and diagrams, - accuracy, independence and ability to work in a team, - communicative knowledge of English (B1/B2), * VCA-B certificate an additional advantage, - category B driving license
🎁 We offer:
- Dutch employment contract, - long-term employment (minimum 6 months), - 40 hours of work per week (Monday-Friday), - salary €17–22 gross per hour, - approximate salary of approximately €700 net per week, - possibility of regular overtime, - weekly payouts (Thursday or Friday), - accommodation in an apartment (single room), - company car, - possibility of using health insurance (cost €38.50 per week, includes access to a general practitioner), - a protective helmet and necessary personal protective equipment are provided.
